ouch! he needs to get a lawyer and sue for damages including attorney's fee. However, that will take some serious time. Sucks to be him...

He should get a lawyer, it would be the best idea, and when he wins the case (for sure gonna happen) he should also make the dealer pay attourny fees. Dealers like that make bad news for Chevy and GM, and GM doesn't need bad publicity. Especially when Toyota is ramping up production to sell more cars than them this year (in N.Am.).

A guy I worked with a couple years back used to import eclipses (buy em in the states and drive em across the border) before Mitsubishi came to Canada. He had a few very nice ones done up and sold. He had one completely done up from scratch with a re-done motor, paint and kit. He took it to his local shop for something like an oil change. Long story short, he's sittin on the bench on his lunch break and sees his car whipping by.

Needless to say he called up the shop. I'm not to sure what resulted, but I bet that was the sponsership for his next convertable eclipse :p.

pretty much.. he dropped it off for some minor fixes (jammed trunk lid and antennae stuck) and when he got it back one of the techs took it for a joyride and damaged the front, as per his avatar..

Well the dealer is replacing his car. That is impressive, the dealer must have recieved a lot of emails from fellow members of the vette club.

Its amazing to see how many different car clubs come together, even we at TM3 support the guy just by viewing the thread. It goes to show in the end all car guys are equal in their passion for their automobile.
