Yea the Rocky movie was good. Little slow at first and it took a while to get to the training, but once you hear that song, god damn its worth it, I wanted to punch guy sitting next to me! Well he was a little big, maybe his son. Take that macho man randy savage! hehe.

I was expecting some kind of critical review, with more substance too. But then again, it's quite difficult to write a brief and engaging review, and we don't have any journalist or high-calibre writers on board.

compared to 'other' JB movies this one lacked:

non-stop action scenes - there were very few
hot bond girl ;) - i mean Solange (Caterina Murino) was MUCH hotter than Vesper Lynd (Eva Green)
gadgets
car scenes - the DBS was seen twice or 3x and then it was crashed.. meh..


i guess when you watch enough bond flicks you wait for the next impossible stunt/gadget/gimmick.. there was very little of it in this movie.. the first part if the movie (the crane scene and at the embassy) were quite fast paced and then the movie mellowed out.. the scenery was quite breathtaking but that's about it.. and what's up with bond succumbing to the chick in the end.. meh

I'm not a big fan of Fantasy movies, but this film is pretty good. I'm impressed of the presentation and visual FX is awesome!

So I went to the 5DriveIn, last night and saw:

Blades of Glory (6.5/10) - Its was funny, stupid funny. Not over the top. Recommended.

Disturbia (4/10) - Wow, long break between action or scary. Its not that Disturbing except for the finale, which was disturbing but not in a way that I went recommend this movie. There are better ones out there.

Shooter (7/10) - See this instead of Disturbia, it was good. A great military/politics movie. Definitely recommended.
