Hey I'm looking to get pointers and stuff from someone with Fiberglass experience. I'm looking to make my own HUD and boxes that custom fit into the trunk

OMG where were you last year :) LOL

Yeah but still, where do you hang around/live. I'm looking to learn how to make custom enclosures for the trunk, stuff that is molded into the groves of a sedan. Ideally it would be the right side above the wheel well to conserve space.

Some day I'll have to pick up some resin and fibreglass mats and just start playing around.

I'd love to be able to make custom bits and I'm sure it's not all that hard once you get the hang of it.

Just need to take the plunge and start learning. :)

It's actually very costly to start off because of all the materials. I would like to see and help someone do their work. Then under their guidance buy the basic material and start making the following:

- Customized dash tops!
- New cupholder replica with embedded keyboard!
- Computer enclosure for the trunk!
- custom door for glove compartment with USB and embeded DVD drive!

Yeah, I know. That's why I haven't done it. I don't have the money to burn on creating what will likely be complete garbage until I get the hang of it. :chuckle

It would to have be more in summer and warmer times, need proper ventilation and the heat to dry stuff.

What if I just put a tanning bed in my basement for this? Then we can all get high at the same time on curing fumes. :chuckle
