Hey,

Anyone know what happened to the guy selling these? I believe his name was sok07? I couldn't find him on the member listing for the forum.

I believe this was from Majic's car:

If he can't be reached, anyone here know where to get dead pedals made similar to the ones sok07 was making?

Thanks,

Jason

I think this is the link you are looking for....

Judging by the waitlist page, it looks like he is still doing it.

BTW....
Both Majic and I opted to get it without the mounting holes in it.
We used velcro to stick it to the carpet... it works well, and is removable.
If you get it with holes, the screws will only penetrate into the styrofoam behind the carpet.
We also opted to have the the non-skid markings not applied and did our own designs.

Here's mine...

Or you can just make your own like I did. I used a much thinner piece of aluminum so that it was easier for me to work with but the down side is that it bends out of shape easily...but for $15 bucks of materials I spent I'm happy with my work.

Great work dude! Now you got me thinking.....

I"ll definately stop by Can tire or Home Depot to check out materials to do this myself... Where did you get the non-skid stuff from?

I picked everything up from Home Depot.
The sheet of alluminum comes in a roll - and like I said, mine is thin but there are thicker ones (but will need heavier duty tools to cut and fold). The non-skid surface is by 3M.
I have a lot of the alluminum sheet left over (I would have to look for it).
I can give you a piece of it if you come to a meet - that way you have an idea.
