I am new to here and I just got my brand new Mazda3 GT in last Dec...it has less than 1000km now...

1. I can't turn Fogs on during day time... To turn it on I must to turn on the headlight. Does anyone know how to change the wire to let it on w/o turn on the headlight?

2. Is the 07 fog still H11 bulb?

Do you have projectors for your fogs?

No projectors, but he does have 10000K HIDs

Can a regular HID kit be installed on the 07 fog housing and not glare. I saw some thread where one individual had yellow HIDs installed and they look wicked.

Well the stock fogs are reflector housings so you are going to have some glare unless your retrofit some projectors down there.

The individual that had the HIDs installed were running pre-07 fog lights with a very clean cut-off line. Was projectors implented to achieve that clean cut-off?

Will send you a pm when I'm in the market for them MS. ;)

I didn't see where he said he retrofitted projectors though.... I recieved a similar cutoff (though there is still alot of glare) without projectors. It just seems harder to retrofit for the I model.

Having a cut-off is better than full reflector housing with no cut off! If you want to be really on the safe side, park out on your street (if it's straight for many hundreds of feet) and leave the fogs on. get in a friend's car and keep driving away from your car. Hope the fogs don't blind!

Yeh I've been around SUV's that have HID's in reflector housings. As for me. the the glare isn't bad for other drivers it's just wasted output. Which is why I really want projectors.

I think the 07 GT comes with the HB4 like the speed3. I originally thought I had H11 but upon further rerview they were HB4. I have the bar type fogs like on the Speed3 on my 07 GT sedan.

Mazdaspeed, do you have HIDs in your fogs? How do you find the cutoff level?
