Possible Summer job?

Hey everybody,
I'm starting to look for a summer job. I know it's a little early but I know some companys hire as early as February.

I'm in 1st year Engineering at Western and I'm planning to go into Mech. or Chemical for 2nd yr.
I guess i'm trying to find a job that would be somewhat related, which is kind of hard.

Do any Mazda Dealerships hire apprentice mechanics cause I know a friend that works as one at Agincourt but he had connections.

Any input would be great!
