Anyway's the title sums it up best. I went to Mtn Mazda to pick up a key for my 3. I go in, ask the parts lady for a key, shes asks me for my VIN, i give it to her. Then she tells me its $35 which is fine, then she proceeds to tell me she cant sell me the key unless its programmed by them for $40. So, I explain to her that this is not necessary and I'll have the key programmed myself. Anyways, long story short, I spent the next 10mins arguing with her dumb a** until finally she gave up (I guess she realized I had all day). All this for a bloody key that they are going to program the same way I can.

I RECOMMEND, JUST BASED ON THIS FACT OF GETTING A KEY, THAT NO ONE EVER GO TO MTN MAZDA.

Side note, well I was in there, a couple came in to pick up their protege which they had taken there to be repaired after an accidnet. All they wanted is to pick up the car and get an invoice for the parts and labour for their records as one was provided to the insurance company and not to them. The other lady working there was even more combative than my lady, I guess its hard for them to hit the print icon and walk there a**es over to the printer for a customer.

I THINK OUR COMMUNITY SHOULD BOYCOTT MOUNTAIN MAZDA IN HAMILTON AND PASS THE WORD TO OTHER MAZDA OWNERS TO TAKE THEIR CARS ELSEWHERE.

Those broads that work there are the uglist dyke looking bitches I've ever met!!!!

I've complained to Mazda Canada about the fat one already after she told me that Canadian Mazda 3's used different engine mounts than American 3's (they refused to warranty my BROKEN ENGINE mount because my car was lowered)

I think they have a nice long list of complaints from me and if I were you I would voice my opinion as well to Mazda Canada

bitches.
and I gaurantee you that Select Mazda aint no better since same ownership

My dad was t-boned in his miata fall 2005. He paid on top of what insurance covered to have an injen intake installed & toyo proxes 4 on all four corners. When he went to pick it up it was a no name intake and goodyear tires. When I looked at the intake and made them aware that they charged us for the brand name and put in a no name unit they tried to explain to me that injen does not label their products... at that time I took them out to my 3 and showed them that injen labels their products... Busted! Then they tried to say the toyo proxes 4 were discontinued and that goodyear was the tire we ordered. Closer look on the work order said... TOYO! Idiots, it was a new tire! Not discontinued! Took another week and a half to get the two problems solved. When the car came back it worked amazing for all the damage but... still after 6 weeks in their body shop... then these errors on their part... c'mon, get your act together.

If they had of said... we f'd up... sorry... give us another few days... would have been better and cut them some slack... but... you get the point.

And... it was the fat ugly one too!!!!! behind the service desk! Good call on that... gross.

That info about the intake and tires sounds like they're straight-up trying to scam people! There's no excuse at all for that sort of thing!

Do these dealers even know how bad their reps are? Or that for some reason they NEVER have repeat customers?

We should have a part of the board were people can comment on each dealer and then a they give a rating out of 10. There can be the average rating on the top.

I don't know if they were honestly trying to scam us or just dumb and didn't cross check each other. Either way. Not good for business!

One positive note. They were $2000 bucks cheaper than Burlington & Oakville Mazda on the miata when it was bought brand new!
