Is there an option of getting your Mazda3 getting a turbo?

I'm not talking about the mazdaspeed3 though. So if I have a mazda3 gt, can I buy a turbo from mazdaspeed to be installed in my car?

You can put a turbo on just about anything so long as you know what you're doing and understand that there's a lot more involved than just getting a manifold to attach the little snail to.

Are you looking for a kit or are you just asking the general question?

I think you're looking for an OEM kit like a Mazdaspeed Intake.

Mazdaspeed doesn't make a turbo (sold seperatly) for the mazda 3. You can look into companies such as Hi-boost for a turbo kit for your car.

Probably not a good idea using a Mazdaspeed3 Turbo at it's default mapping since it pushes about 13-14psi of boost. Unless you upgrade the internals on the regular 3, that'll blow your engine apart. Not even sure if it would work due to direct injection being taken into account with the tuning.

A Mazdaspeed3 engine swap might be a better idea, but there would be all kinds of issues with that as well regarding fitment and supporting mods, or the HighBoost kit might be a better option, surely a lot cheaper.

Do tell more. What type of kit? Intercooled? How is the fuel managed etc?

I have a sneaking suspicion that this is too good to be true.
