Does anyone have release dates and or pricing for the new Mazdaspeed cold air intake for the speed3??

My dealer has no clue yet, so I'm hoping someone here has the inside scoop!!

If he hasn't given you a VIN yet, I would say he is incorrect.

As of today, all of the ones listed in Mazda's system are still showing Production (i.e. havent left Japan)

Got the VIN.. Dealer has confirmed car is in Canada now..

I guess I won't know 100% until I get the phone call to pick it up..

Can anyone confirm that the Factory warranty will not be affected with this MS CAI?? - I'm hearing rumours that it will....

If you have the MS intake installed at the dealer, it will not affect the warranty. If you install it yourself... and they can prove that you did it wrong and that led to some sort of failure... then they could deny you coverage.

Honestly, I wouldn't be too concerned. It's just an intake. Unless the filter fell off and you sucked up a kitten or something, I can't imagine how it could go wrong.

i was under the impression that it had to be installed at the dealership before pickup to be fully covered by ur mazda warranty

That's true for the factory warranty to apply to the intake. I think he was just concerned about the factory warranty being voided by the intake, not about a warranty on the intake itself.

I was just concerned about the factory warranty being void for ANY reason having the dealer installed MS CAI on this car.
Example: if the engine malfunctions or something they deny warranty work due to the CAI.

I have an CDN retail price of $459.85 plus tax.

The TM3 super duper price is $367.88 plus tax.

Anyone have official Mazda Canada ruling on the Warranty coverage "colour" on this CAI for the speed3? I've heard conflicting info - Orange, blue.....

i had my engine blow and one dealer said they wouldnt fix it because of the intake but then i took it to avante and they said that there no prob with having an intake in the car. so in the end im still not sure but the intake cant do to much damage
