MrJWU's Black Mica Sedan

Had some free time last night so I decided to give the TM3 logo/license plate mod a try and decided to paint my door sills as well...

Used a flat black paint and clearcoated all the pieces.... Had a little bubbling on the license plate cover but turned out nice still... Sorry for the bad camera phone pics!!

I would remove them, but I dont know how to. I've heard hair dryer and fish line, goo gone.... True?

Easy to do though? I'm afraid to ruin the paint and such

yeah they were easy to remove

and exactly as u said

i used fishing line and goo gone, got them off, then hair dryer to remove the remaining tape, and then goo gone for the last little specks.

then i washed the car.

but beware . . . the little dings and dents . . they start to show more!

arg! (gotta see the dent guy)



i dont normally like open-faced grills, but it looks good un ur car, not sure why, but i just like it!

Thanks for the comment! I actually took the grill off as I was not happy with the gap it has along the bottom... I think the fitment is really bad (which reminds me.. I was supposed to go see Flippy about it!!!) It's not even painted either!

Dings/Dents are what I'm afraid of man... I see them all the time on my car.... makes me wanna cry sometimes!

yeah the dents and dings make me wanna cry too!

hopefully thomas can arrange the dent guy to come out to a meet again this year, he did everyones car (within reason) for 50 bux each!

Flippy hooked me up with the Mazdaspeed logo. I adhered it to the mesh of the grill myself....

I'm actually surprised that you guys like the grill! I was thinking about getting rid of it for a long time now... If only I could get it to fit better, I'd definately keep it.
