So, after reading majic's review of wingporium, i remembered that i ate somewhere that i hadn't eaten before recently.
So i went with Family for my Dad's Birthday last week to the Pickle Barrel. When i heard that is where we were going, i was worried, as i figured this was a deli/sandwich kind of place.
Well that is certainly not the case.
The resteraunt was nicely decorated, the staff was friendly and accomodating.
But lets face it, unless we are a fake-assed posh wannabe, we care more about the food quality and then the decor of the place and the ambiance.
so, how was the food!
to my delight, it was fantastic!
I had some vegetable quesadia (sp)
it was good, nothing to write home about, but a 8/10
next was sweet potato/orange soup
OMG, so good, i would give it an 11/10 i could have just had a few bowls
of that and i would have been happy.
then for the main course, i had lemon-herb roasted chicken shish kebabs over rice and roasted vegetables.
and wow! another perfect dish, 9/10 chicken was juicy yet well cooked. \
vegetables were the perfectly cooked, not to hard not to soft but just
right. (think goldilocks is writing their cookbooks)
Hell even my cappachino at the end was good!
for a surprisingly good meal, at a price that is not cheap, but not absurd this is a good choice
