Hey guys,

Thought I'd help my cousin (The Drummer) and his band get exposure to their band in Canada.

A California based Band known as "Silversun Pickups" They are known in the states, but very well known in Los Angeles, as well as in Seattle. They're single "Lazy Eye" has been in radio stations in the states, not to mention performed live on Latenight with David Letterman and Jay Leno.

Alot of comments show that they could be the next smashing pumkins....

Well ya.... Downloading is the trend now a days.

I didnt mention support, because they have so much support in the states, I just want them known in Canada as well.

But have a listen to their songs... If you like rock / punk, you'll like this band

If you see their schedule on their website, www.silversunpickups.com or their Myspace account, www.myspace.com/silversunpickups, they have a performance at the Jimmy Kimbel show, and a show on March 31, at the Ricoh Center... I didn't get a chance to get tickets, but it was so easy before... It shows that they are getting big now...

I think they kind of sound like the pumpkins (actually the first time I heard it I thought it was Billy corgan), the more I hear them it reminds me of the band "wheatus", they had a song a few years back called "teenage dirtbag".

I heard this song 3 times within the past 24hours, always played on 102 so I think its known around here...

Yup.. I listen to them in the morning at 102... When they arrive on the 31st of March there going to drop by the edge radio station.. Not sure if they will have a mini performance.. I'll ask Chris.

Just came back from the "Snow Patrol" concert opened by Silversun Pickups, and okay go.

Packed house at the Ricoh center... The cool part was when Snow Patrol came on stage with SSPU and simutaneously played lazy eye... The funny part was the other drummer was trying to keep up with my cousin... hahah and the bass player keeping up with Nicky...

I Got to see my cousin after his set, and heard the other groups... all three bands sounded good live...

Neato, I saw them when they opened for MUSE here a few years ago, I really like Panic Switch, used it as my ringtone for almost a year, which is a pretty damn long time for me haha.
