TM3 Fundraiser - 50/50 Draw

The TM3 committee has been pleased with the steady growth of this club over the past few months. In an effort to keep this positive momentum, we will be holding a 50/50 draw in order to secure some funding for the upcoming season.

If anyone doesn't know what a 50/50 draw is; it is a raffle where the main prize is 50% of the money collected from ticket sales.

Proceeds from this raffle, will be used for webhosting and maintenance of our site, production of new TM3 decals, funding for summer events, and depending on funds perhaps even some new promotional item start-ups.

Additional prizes have been generously donated by some of our sponsors (see prize list below. Many thanks tocta motorsports, Artec Technology, NextMod, Touge Tuning, and Tires23 for their support.

Ticket Prices will be the Following

1 ticket for $3.00
2 tickets for $5.00
5 tickets for $10.00

Tickets will be available for sale staring March 1st 2007. The winners will be selected at the spring kick-off bbq in Cambridge on April 29th 2007.

You can purchase tickets in the following ways.

1. At Meets
- There will always be a ticket seller at meets
2. At Mazda of Toronto
- during parts hours, see Joe, outside of that see Jeff. (Thursdays 5:00-9:00 PM will not be available)
3. From Ticket Sellers (see list below)
- feel free to contact sellers through the PM system to arrange a time to meet and purchase tickets.
4. From Paypal (payment@torontomazda3.ca)
- For those who choose this route of payment, please fill out the comment section with your USERNAME and number of tickets purchased. As well, send a PM to S.F.W. and Broli with the same information one of us will respond with your ticket numbers.

I never posted to the open forum looking for prizes, i solicited the sponsors specifically. :D

if you have something you can donate, that would be great! let me know what it is, and if i should credit anyone other than you, and i will add it to the list! Drop of with Freddy is perfect!

also don't forget to have last minute buyers able to buy at the bbq before the draw (like myself, paypal fee's for 50/50 tix's are bogus, and any other memebrs from this region)

other people coming to the bbq ive been telling them about the 50/50 would liek to maybe buy some also (co-workers, a few other friends of mine...my paraents, lol)

i really encourage people to buy these tickets, this is a way to support the club, and makes it so we dont need to charge memberships!

Sponsors have stepped up and made great prizes available, so, lets have members step up also!

i think one side says coupon, regardless, members write thier username (or real name and phone number for not members) so there is no mistaking them!

Its to my understanding that they won't draw a winner for the 50/50 till towards the end

As it stands, we will still be making the draw at the BBQ but near the end. So tickets will be availble to buy at the BBQ before the draw.

we sold a total of $350.00 so out grand prize winner gets to take home $175.00, which means we raised $175.00 for the club to help with webhosting, events and clothing!!

great job guys, and thanks to bubba for letting us do the draw at the BubbaQ
