I notice there are a lot of people on here that like Asian cuisine. Anyone have any good recommendations for Dim Sum? The place we usually go to is Lao Lee Beef Seafood Restaurant at Yonge/Steeles because the food is great, they take reservations, and it's really cheap ($12-$15 per person).

Popular one is New Century. It's a big one at Warden/Steeles (metro Square)

I like going to the one at market village just outside of pacific mall. It faces kennedy enterance. If you're early enough its $2 a dish or else after that its $2.20 a dish but still not bad. Another place i like is the one inside market village but this one is a little pricy because they are not the same price for every dish like the first one i mentioned.

I like the one inside market.
There's one in the plaza beside times and across from commerce that is great. (i believe the plaza is called golden gate.)

These two are a bit pricy though.

The one in oriental isn't bad as well. cheaper than the other two.

edit: what about a tm3 dim sum tasting team?

I've had Dim Sum in the evening - although there are less places serving Dim Sum at that time.

Stuffed crab claws are my favourite!

I heard there are different kinds of Dim Sum. I want the one where people walk around with carts of food and you just choose.

Price-wise i think "Honey Garlic" in the plaza on kennedy and denison is alrite --- where the old swiss chalet used to be. For 1.60 a dish there isnt much to complain about.

^^ But at that price all you eat is the same shit for the whole hour you're sitting there. Been there done that.
