but you do make a very valid point. my car. no plate frames. not so flashy anyway. my gfs car. has plate frames and pink wheels. wouldnt take much to find out what else might be in the car. hopefully it never comes to that.

true, but visible mods like putting wheels on your car or lowering it does a lot more to attract unwanted attention than plate covers do.

5:15pm - I was walking into Mazda of Toronto on Yonge St and noticed a lowered 1st gen mazda 3 hatch go by. White with a big lip and I think I spotted red on the car. Maybe rim paint or a decal...caught it at the last second. Car was driving south on Yonge just south of Steeles.

6:00pm - Driving past Metro at Sheppard and Bathurst. White 1st gen hatch again, also with an aggressive lip and custom grill. It almost looked exactly the same as the first spotting.

Drove beside a maroon 04-06 hatch today on the way to work. Mazda speed sticker lower left hand corner of hatch. Sounded like it had a Cai and aftermarket exhaust.

Around 10:30ish this morning on Rossland Rd and Central Park Blvd North a white second gen sedan with blue license plate covers, tinted windows and black shark fin antenna with a tm3 logo on the rear driver side passenger window

driving home from church along markham rd about 1 hour ago and saw a blue genwon sedan turning right and heading in the opposite direction. this is near the fire station on markham. couldn't get a good look at it but the car seemed to have some decals on it and looked nice and clean. who you be?

That might have been me. Do you mean the fire station just north of lawrence on markham? And did it have white decals?
