View Full Version : Mazda 3 Sedan LED Floating spoiler??

Hey sorry I am new here and I work for Mazda in the parts dept, I recenly had a customer that wanted an LED floating spoiler for his 07 Mazda 3 4 door sedan.... Now as far as I can tell there is no such thing on any site I have looked at. This may be true but since the 3rd brake light is in the trunk right near the spoiler I wouldnt imagine someone making an LED spoiler. Can someone help me out??

I've never heard of that. Maybe he saw a universal style spoiler much like stock that had an LED set in it. There are many universals of that style. Its it possible he meant the hatchback/ms spoiler?

my initial thought is he wanted a version of the Spped3 spoiler, but for a sedan. Which doesn't exist..

Just because a car has a third brake light in the rear decklid does not necessarily mean that a factory spoiler won't come with an additional LED brake light.....just look at the Mazda6. Having said that, I have never seen a spoiler for the sedan which has an LED brake light. It was likely an aftermarket unit, and possibly a universal piece.

i gotta say that it seems he is probably talking about the raised spoiler with hopes that there is an LED version . .

I don't know why you'd want one, it'd be to many lights stacked in the center. Either shave the centre light and get the LED spoiler or just get the regular spoiler and get an led 3rd brake light. Problem solved :)

I like the LED 3rd brake light, but it looks odd unless you have the LED outer tails to match IMO.

i think shavin the stock 3rd brake light and getting a raised spoiler with leds would look good!

but i perfer the lip spoiler and the stock brakelight made LED, as well as the outer brake lights!

that is hawt


again, it would be cool to see the 3rd light shaved off

Customer wanted a spoiler (not lip style... "floating") that had an LED brake light in it. Colin couldn't find it anywhere... so he asked here. Why its in the Interior section.... no clue LOL

i agree. that would look hot if the 3rd brake was shaved in favor for a floating spoiler with led 3rd brake.. with the LED tails ofcourse.

Guys relax Colin isn't a Mazda noob he's had his 323 longer than most of us had ours 3's.

Colin the Mazda OEM spoilers don't have LED's in them b/c of the interior 3rd brake light. Too many rear lights in the back is my guess why it doesn't come with it.
