Cut a hole on the cover under engine....

Hi everyone,

I went for an oil change in Jan. somehow the tech. cut a hole on the cover to access the filter. Anyone experience something like this? What did you do and what did the dealership do to fix the problem.

Lazy tech why cut hole when you can just remove cover :pop
