how to service your brakes and calibers?

Does anyone have the factory service guide or some good diagrams on how to service the calibers and brakes? I have some mech skills and I want to learn how..not to mention save a few bucks here and there. Would you recommend get them done at the dealership? THey charge me 200$ last time because of the excessive brake dusts.
