Hi everyone:) I am new here and just thought i would intro myself.
Drive M3 Win Blue 1 year old now. Just thought i would come and check out what it would be like to be a part of the club.
No Mods as of yet. unless you count a winter tire package.
Would really like to start with small things so that its a little easier ont he pocket book.
Any ideas on quick DIY jobs. If you have pics that would help too.

Heh, I thought I had posted in here, but I guess I hadn't.
Welcome aboard.
I sent you a PM about possibly meeting up Monday during the day.
You said you wanted to start with small stuff. What do you consider small? Small like tint, or removing the door mouldings, or bigger?

Well it looks like something has been started North of the GTA.
We just had our first un/officail meet.
If you guys are somewhat local to us maybe you should come out!!!!
Check out "Barrie Meets?????????? (http://www.torontomazda3.ca/forum/showthread.php?t=17249)" string. Intro yourself and i am sure that we will get something going.
Hello,
Sorry for Jacking the thread jaM3ican, but what would you want to remove door moldings?

That was me who asked about removing the moldings. I just think it looks better with them gone. As soon as it gets a bit warmer, they'll be history.

not sure i want to put the time and effort in taking something off, would rather spend the time adding/doing something.
i could probably squeak by a $200 dollar job on something

I'm taking them off this week or next. We can compare notes after that if you want.

Thanks 3GFX and Cyberscorpi0
noticed that both you had calipers painted. couldn't tell from your pic but that thin little wire that goes around the brake, is it hard to come off?
As Well do you know if anyone has those caliper decals left?
The little wire doesn't come off unless you take the brake apart. Its not a big deal to paint. Try searching for brake decals in the search feature on top of the board.

You don't have to seal it. Just stick it to clean and dry smooth painted caliper. Then your good to go.
