I thought these were pretty funny, especially the 'left-handed' burger.

-- In 1998, a newsletter titled New Mexicans for Science and Reason carried an article that the state of Alabama had voted to change the value of pi from 3.14159 to the "Biblical value" of 3.0.

Those are pretty funny... I like the one about the Mets pitcher... Has anybody pulled any April Fool's hoaxes ?

One year, while a friend of mine was at work, some of us got the spare key to his car and stole it out of the parking lot 15 mins before he was done. We had someone sitting in their car in the same parking lot videotaping his reaction when he came out of his work and saw that his car was missing. Then we drove past him in his own car yelling out the windows. Definitely one to remember.

i burned my supervisor at school a few times.

one year she was looking to hire some students to update a book on drug addiction (called: Drugs and Drug Addiction)

So i sent her a fake application from "Eddie Griffin"

In it i misspelled her name, explained that i was uniquely qualified as i had experience with drugs and addiction, suggested that an interview was certainly formality for a candidate of my caliber and that i would be available to meet on a tuesday morning but not to early, as i like to sleep in.

When she brought the letter into my office to show me, i had a hard time not laughing,

the next year an oppurtunity presented itself.

One of the new students, said he could tell anyones ethnic group by thier looks, well, he guessed my supervisor, and got it way off. so to prep the prank, i told him that she was really offened to be called from that group, and i told her that he was really sorry to have called her from that group.

on april 1st i went to a flower shop near by and had them deliver the flowers to her from him, appologizing for calling her from that group. (it was good, because it is strange for a student to send a prof flowers, and she felt that she looked racist at the same time) So she pulled him from his office, and said i appreciate the flowers and the sentiment, but i took no offence to what you said. he responded with "huh?? i didn't send u any flowers . . "

it was a two-for!

:D
