Im typing this in class right now as I made it to class on time LUCKILY.

This morning at 9:40, I was going to be late for class so I was booting it down Brimely Rd Southbound.
Accelerating from a stop from Huntingwood, I got up to 80km/h. As I looked up from my speedometer, I noticed a silver silverado truck about 300m up the road turning right very slowly into one of the side streets. I think nothing of this and was going to change to the left lane and boot it some more.
Fortunately, there was a car that was beside me and this manuver could not be made.
As I get closer to this truck, This sort of tripod thing becomes partly visible.

Luckily, I was already slowing down for the truck and the officer was too busy signalling the truck over.

As I pass the truck and the officer, the officer starts to go back to the station to clock other people.

Oh man, they would of loved me.
here's what Im thinking if I got pulled.
Speeding ticket + exhaust ticket + no drl ticket (possibly)

-Chuckie
I don't know, I could be lucky in the sense that the truck kept the officer busy so he didn't clock me. However if the truck wasn't in the way, I would of saw what the officer was doing (however, that probably would be a bit too late because I was the first car coming down the lane so he would of clocked me coming a mile away).

just a bit SIGH of relief from me I guess.. 2 years of no accidents, no tickets, never pulled over streak could of came to an end.

NOTE: I KNOW SPEEDING IS WRONG =( but I was late for class, you gotta do what you gotta do!

Lucky Chukie.
Yeah, usually by the time you see them it's too late.
Gotta watch for speed traps now that the weather is getting warmer.

damnnn chuck,

looks like cops are going to be everywhere this summer. I hate this whole "speed blitz everyday crap," dont they have something better to do ?

I found cops at these locations in the past few weeks (camped with radar guns on tripods)

Warden + Applecreek
Woodbine + Roddick
Woodbine + Applecreek
16th + 404 (in the petro station)
Roddick + Morrison Crt (before applecreek , speed limit was changed from 60 to 50)

As always, there was one at the underpass on Steeles near Laureleaf this morning... always one there.

But Steeles is in such bad shape after this past winter it is hard to speed without chipping a tooth. Still getting used to the springs.

Listening to 680 radio a while back I thought it was Rudy Giuliani advising on certain changes. Maybe I mis-heard. I'll see if I can find something.

Rudy Giuliani had advised of the "Broken Window Theory" that he used to clean up NYC....from getting tough on panhandlers and petty thieves to the baddest of criminals.

glad u didnt get a ticket!!
im so far speed-ticketless not ticketless, lol.

when summer time approaches, we might have to start a 'Potential Speed Trap Location sticky' although I dunno if that is legal.

lucky chuckie...i was cruising beside a 350 on the highway on 401 and i was probably going 5 km/h faster than him and the cop pulled me over instead of him...wow...not too lucky in my case...

4th ticket so far haha shit. but never gotten a ticket for my car parts...all four times ive had illegal shit on my car to the max and they never checked it. so its pretty unlikely that u'll get tickets for illegal car parts from my experience.

in conclusion...slow down...

Lucky x2. Another scare tonight.. =(

Heading eastbound on Shepperd after just having made a right from Kennedy Rd at 3:00 AM tonight
The light was green on Kennedy so a stop was not required when turning right (so no violation could be found there)

I was behind an silver integra with some altezza's but pretty much a stock car (no exhaust either).
So we made the turn, both in the right lane, now he accelerated a bit faster coming out of the turn (as did I because thats the way I drive, I tend to get up to a reasonable rate of speed quicklier than a lot of other people) (think 2nd to 3rd at around 5000rpm)

So im behind him both doing 70km/h for about half a km, and it's basically deserted, so thats reasonable right (not legal but reasonable for the conditions for the road)? WRONG!
Out of nowhere, I see a police cruiser pass on the left lane, I didn't see it until it was right beside me, gets between me and the integra.

Here I am thinking, ****.

1.) He must of heard my exhaust while I was giving it a bit more gas to accelerate.

2.) I look like a kid. I had a full car (5) people in the car with me. Laws say that if you only have G2, in the first 6 months you can only carry 1 person thats not related to you after midnight and it's upped to 3 after 6 months of G2. (mind you I have G so I would be okay, just more reason to suspect it and pull me over though)

3.) Yes, I was speeding again (10km/h over on a deserted road but still I did it and he could get me for it)

At this point with all these thoughts swirling in my head, my foot was off the gas, slowing down which puts some distance between me and the cop. The cop didn't slow down to pull me over, got right behind the ass of the integra and turned the cherries on

So at this point, I passed both of them slowly while being cautious on the gas (more like coasting) incase he had the intention of pulling me too incase the cop says I was trying to run or some shit.
He didn't come after me.

I don't know why he pulled the integra over for going 10 over on a road where it was basically only the cop, the integra and my car.
1.) it might have been profiling
2.) it might have been the altezza's
3.) it might have been because one of his headlights is out (doubt it)
4.) or it might be because he heard my exhaust from wherever he was accelerating and ASSUMED the integra infront of me was the one with it.
most likely it was a combination of all these factors

I guess he chose to pull over an integra over a Mazda3 Sport that looks very similar to stock (if you don't know mazda3's, you'd think it's stock, my exhaust tip is even tucked in a bit so it looks quite stockish)

At anyrate. I survived another one, I don't know how much of this I can take.. there's just too many of them out there.. I saw 5 tonight just driving to places (mind you it's the long weekend).

-Chuckie.
Lesson here is Don't speed this coming summer because I think it's going to be really bad in terms of traffic enforcement, and that if you drive an integra with altezza's on, prepare to be profiled.

there was mad cops out there tonight. usually the cops wont pull u over for ur exhaust. and if i were the cop, id pull the integra over anyday over the mazda3 lol. those cars just give you that vibe you know?

There's mass cops everywhere, on friday night when I was driving back from London, I saw 4 people getting pulled over.
One guy deserved it though he was in a IS350 and when he passed me my whole car shooked. After 50 exits later I see him pulled over. He was going at least 170.

Thursday night, on my way downtown to celebrate the long weekend with my men, I was on the highway, and at one point, around the 427/401 area, I remember seeing a cop with it's bright red leds pulling over a totally riced out orange civic coupe with the rear license plate slanted, tints and a huge exhaust and probably more. It was in the middle of nowhere. Yes, I saw all this from the highway. My eyes are pretty good.

You know, I bet the guys ('men' that you refer too), gaged and bound in the back of your trunk probably were starting to realize as you drove down the highway, commenting on an orange civic coupe and your great eye sight that responding to the ad "Long Weekend Partiers wanted for TO Trip Easter Weekend" might have not been such a good idea. Was it hard to get them into the gimp outfit?

Oh, back to topic - yeah speed traps suck, watch it Chuck...

(I'm joking MGM - just had to get a tease in... it's been awhile )
