Umm Xm radio question

Hey all,

I got a roady in my car for xm radio but when I hook it up, there is a crapload of noise. Somebody said I need a filter of some kind but I am not sure of the exact name and where I can get it. So if anybody has an idea of the name and where I could get it, please let me know as the noise really sucks
