I downloaded the x264 version also. On a computer monitor it makes a difference but on a computer hooked up to a TV, it's barley any difference.

Yup no more Christopher and T's luck seemed to change for the better along with it. Now need to find a new head of the family.

I was actually thinking AJ might be getting some balls and could possibly take on a more sinister role other than the whinning lovesick sissy they have been giving us until I saw the last few minutes of this week. Please have someone from the NY crew kill AJ just so we don't need to endure anymore of this. This would also make for an interesting conclusion and would involve Phil Leotardo who I think really hates Tony for all sorts of previous dealings.

I thought they did a poor job getting rid of Johnny Sack as well. He should have gone out in a much more heroic way. It would have been funnier just to have his wife sit on him and accidetally kill him!

Thought Paulie was going to be swimming with Big ***** in the episode before but I think T's had a change of heart with him. I still think Paulie is one to watch but part of me says he is still a loyal soldier eventhough he is still very bitter (and now even more so now that no one showed up to his mothers funeral because of Chris).

I'd like to see Hesh take out Tony. T may not even see it coming. This season has really shown us there is a rift between them.

I am much happier with these episodes verses the pervious ones. I was really disappointed with the direction the show took with all of the homosexuality (not that there is anything wrong with that) and it really hasn't added anything to the show. It would have been better if Veto had killed Meadow and her boyfriend to keep his secret.

on the AJ side of things, another thought could be that i can see him retaliating against his father. as we have learned in previous seasons he doesn't really agree with what his dad does, and to see his friends acting in similar fashion, and him in therapy liek the old man, i can see maybe something coming from that! altho it is pretty funny to see father and sun in therapy!!

not much of meadow in this season, too bad!

I'm thinking what goes around comes around. Did we ever learn what killed Tony's father? I know there have been references to Livy (Tony's mother) and Junior maybe killed him.

To go with the whole circle of life theme maybe Carmella ends up killing Tony after she finds out he did away with Chris. Now with AJ making some "wise guy friends" maybe eventually AJ could take over the NJ gang just like Tony did with Uncle Paulie (never married old school) taking on the role of Junior to guide the youngster.

There is a parallel between AJ life and Tony's just like there was between Tony and his father. Tony is a soft hearted individual as we have seen with the ducks etc and AJ is very much like I think his father was as a youngster. Only difference is AJ doesn't have the overbearing mother until Carmella kills Tony. Once this happens AJ can blame everything on his mother (just like Tony).

ya after last sunday's episode my call definately hasto change.

Phil Liatardo was too chicken shit to see tony face to face, prolly thought he would get whacked, as lil Camine would stand to gain out of his ceasing to exist.

Im gonna play it week to week from now on, shit is changing too fast.

I have a sinking feeling it wont end with Tony dead or in jail, because I have heard there might be a movie in the works after the series.

I don't know that Phil was too chicken to see Tony and Carmine. I figure he was upstairs having a sit down with Hesh maybe and thats why he refused to see them. I thought the shotting might start right there as T and C started to walk away but no.

I almost got my wish with AJ. Too bad it didn't happen.:bang

My bet is still with Carmella taking T out when she find who killed Chris. Did you see the way she threw the watch! She's got it in her.:flaming

what a totall goofup on the sopranos side of things thinking that they had phil dead. i was surprised they killed off 2 of tonys guys in this episode. i don't knwo what to think of anything, considering phill has dissapeared off the face of the planet, so it seems.

i thought killing off multisante was big, but this is crazy...
im sad to see only one more episode left!!
will they get tony, or will phll be the first to go.!!!!

Great episode but it makes me wonder how they could possibly close the show with only 1 hour left.

Sil die? Not sure how that will play out. Maybe he will go into a dream sequence and think he plays in a band with Bruce Springstein or something. Seriously not much of a story to follow since we know Sil is not a leader.

Paulie - Defects and joins with the New York crew after giving up Tony's hiding place and will be killed in the finale by either Tony or NY.

AJ - Takes up with Dr Malfie in a Mrs Robinson senerio and she uses him as a case study on the treatment of ...... Faq! Why couldn't he just die already. Maybe we will get lucky and he will get killed by walking in front of a bus.

Prediction:
I'm going to say Paulie gives Tony up to NY for his freedom, Tony finds out and takes out Paulie like he should have ealier, Tony then finds Phil and guns him down but gets seriously injured in doing so and while recovering in hospital Tony is killed but by who?

Carm at his bedside? Maybe but right now I'm thinking Janice will kill him to avenge Bobby and to finish off what their mother and Uncle Jr. never could and Janice will take over as head of the Soprano family. Janice is by far the strongest character left to continue the NJ crew and being the wife of the #3 guy and the sister of the dead boss it seems like it could be possible. Hesche could also figure into this somehow.

No ending would have sufficed. Regardless of what the directors or writers would have done there would have been an outcry from people everywhere that things were left undone.

I liked it. In the end was up to the viewer to determine, based on their own opinion, what was to happen to the family.

OK now that I have had 13 hours to reflect on this I maybe was a little judgemental. I won't release any pertinent info incase some of you still haven't watched it.

Lessons learned from this episode:
1. Don't park in leafs with an SUV with a hot cathletic converter especially when making out with a anareksic model
2. Women really don't know how to parallel park (why only 5 minutes dedicated to this? Could be a whole show. Utter genious)
3. If you use your head you can't stop a slow moving SUV
4. AJ can run - How the hell did he get so far from home?
5. Not really having an end to the show means it really still exists.

David Chase SAID many, many, many times that he wasn't going to "tie up loose ends" so this should have been expected...

I will admit, I did alot of "WTF's" near the end, but after having some sleep on it, I was quite happy with the result. Kinda like those "choose your own adventure" books I used to read when i was younger.
