Racing Seats on 3?

Anybody has Racing Seat in their 3?

I have racing seats stored in my basement that's supposed to go in my Civic. But I'm considering installing it in my 3 instead. I might have it custom installed due to no brackets/adaptor available for this car yet.

If you know a member or somebody with racing seat installed, I would really appreciate a picture/post.

It's probably prohibitively expensive, but consider that you could probably order the seats from the Mazdaspeed and they might drop right in.

I wonder if anyone knows whether they use the same rails or installation points?

This is exactly my concern. Everytime I do a search for Seat brackets, All I get are Honda accessories :(

I knew somebody in the club has Racing Seat, I just couldn't remember who.

Mine was a custom install. $$$$

$600 and change for the seat... $75 for a seat from the wreckers,for the rails... $150ish I think for them to weld up brackets to the rails to mount seat. Uses stock belt buckle to avoid legal issues....

About $900....
...I was actually thinking of selling my seat.....

hey, i got some racing seats too. i wasn't looking for a set but i got em for cheap. It was a custom install and they welded the stock feet from the original bracket onto a heavy duty custom bracket and then bolted the rails on. stock seatbelts. it was somewhere around $450 it took about 4 days and i had to get the height adjusted , the first time i could see notin but gauges cause im 5'8" lol .AND they scratched my door jamb!
