I've never seen that car before but wow. Looks amazing (when it isn't on fire) lol!!! Poor car.

Actually JP your favorite car is the R8, the RS8 is was under development at this point in time. Truly a shame though.

Just a side not, BMW is planning on putting their F1 car on the large track to set the bar. Not sure when but I can't wait to see that!!!

Wow.. youd think id know about it... damn! I teach the driving school and I never heard of the RS8.... I drove the R8 though :) twice ;) Maybe I did hear about the RS8 but just thought it was a RS version of the A8.... Anywho... it has the same body as my beloved R8... :( It was a fuel line btw... or this is what im told from my source.

Who knows what they will call the 10 cylinder R8? Would still be nice to drive the regular R8 though...

10 will be RS8 Aparently........ There is also a TDI (YES Diesel) powered version of the R8 coming..... Supposed to have almost 700ish HP and over 800ish ft/lbs of torque.

Makes sense since their racing pedigree is now diesel powered. There LeMans cars are totally dominent.

They havent announced the TDI version yet... But Ill assume that sometime in the near future they will (this summer). The engine is based on the Q7 TDI engine already in production.

Bah. At least they had brakes. I laughed when Ford recalled the Focus for both a sticky accelerator pedal AND brake failure right around the same time. Now THAT would be a pisser of a failure to have at once! :chuckle
