Well took the vehicle in for an oil change and for a couple of issues, spoke to Russel in service told him I had my own oil and he said no problem, he took it in then and there charged $38 total with filter and taxs....I then mentioned a couple of issues I had, one which sounded like bearing noise. After some talk, get this...He tells me "there's a TSB's on this issue" and that my vehicle falls under both in VIN and year, so to make a long story short I had my R/R bearing replaced...no problems. I'll also be taking it in again soon to have my pads replaced, all four corners as they are squeeling and crunching pretty good when their cold, as he mentioned the TSB for that also....and to top things off they washed my vehicle for me when they were all done.

Thanks to Scarboro Mazda for great no hassle service.

I wish I had a good experience, but so far I'm disappointed with this dealer.

After being referred by another member here, I booked my service appointment with the service manager because I've been experiencing mileage issues. The Service manager was not going to be in that day, but he had spoken to a specific service tech who would be, and they had both talked about the issues and what was to be done/tested on my car.

I booked the day off work, and I drove the 40 minutes to the dealer (I'm not local and the local dealers have not been helpful) only to find that the service tech who was supposed to work on my car had not shown up. And none of the other ppl there knew about my car. They offered to keep my car there, but said to me that they had no idea what they were doing with it (so why would I bother?). I was so angry after that day that I haven't even called the dealer to say anything (it's been 2 weeks now). I wasted an entire day of work for that appointment, and still didn't accomplish anything.

Not sure what I will do from here, but I was no impressed that I didnt even get a phone call before or after.

Super Vixen that is bullshit. I hate shit like that, how hard is it be to call someone (either before or after). They were probably scared you would rip them a new one.

SuperVixen, I just happened to be at Scarboro Mazda yesterday for an oil change and I decided to ask Russell what was up with your situation and as it was told to me, the service advisor whom Russell had filled in about your vehicle problem and whom was supposed to take care of you that day, decided to quite the job without notice on that same day, catching everyone off guard and therefore caused all the confusion.Russell also asked me to pass this on to you; He is personally upset and sorry about the whole situation and if you would like to make an appointment for a day where Russell will be there, he will personally make sure you are taken good care of and the car problem will be looked after promptly...IMO, I believe Russell is sincere in his statement and would really like to make it up to you.

Hope it works out for you.
