Now...I'm confused. What is installed in a 2005 Mz3 sport?
in the owner's manual, in the specs pages, you can read:
headlights, high beam = HB3 (9005 from sylvania), ok these ones are not HID, right?
low beam = halogen H7 or xenon fusion D2S, I guess I have H7 in my car.
fog lights = H11
if I want to install HID lights, am I limited to install:
for high beam = a HID conversion kit from 9005
for low beam = a kit from H7
etc...
thanks

Those are the types of bulbs you need, but as for installing a HID kit for your highbeam there is no point.

Those are the types of bulbs you need
so basically, when you choose in the online shop which kit you want, you specify which type of bulb the new HID bulbs should be?
but as for installing a HID kit for your highbeam there is no point.
Why?
thanks

You want H7 bulbs for your low beam.
You want H11 for fog lights.
I don't know which online shop your talking about.
There is no point on having HID's for your highbeams and lowbeams because if you use the same colour temperature for the will be almost no difference between the highbeams and lowbeams.
