I thinking fuel mileage will be a big priority for Sabio in the next car.
He can get Mazda 2. But he has to wait until next year. :chuckle

edit..Lease Buyout is $14,480.... not even 41K on it yet... anyone interested
Sabs, hope you stick around. These schmucks run rampant without some good ol' whippin now and then.
$14,480 sounds low doesn't it guys? But I think Sabs has to buy it out for that plus tax, and then sell for at least that plus that one tax (pst right?)... is that true?

ya...$14,480 plus Tax. And I guess a cert./emissions on top of that.
Still...that would be only $16,500 and maybe another couple hundred.
Cheaper than the $18K plus they are selling for...
as for the next ride... 1995 Chevy Blazer 4dr 4X4...letting the $$$$ settle down (or lack of)...wife went back to work, so gonna drive used for now until we see where the money is at.

It was cheaper for me in the short term to lease new rather then buy old but I guess a 95 Blazer would only be around $5000 so I dunno. Still kind of close imo
TheProfessor

Yes but if he were to go into another lease he'd be locked into it, whereas by going the Blazer route he can get out anytime and possibly get something a lot nicer than the 3.

Please if anyone is interested in purchasing this car, let Sabio know asap.
And I should mention that if done correctly the taxes would only need to be paid once. not twice..
Basically a third party purchase.

Jeff, how do you do that?
Just curious more than anything else since just recently a friend sold a Honda to another purchaser. He couldn't tell Honda Canada to put it directly into the purchaser's name, so what ended up happening was that he bought it out from Honda Canada plus 14% then sold to the purchaser, who then paid, I guess, another 8% as a private sale.

As long as it is done at the same time as the buy I can do it.
So on a $14,000 buyout... you save $1100+

300km and the light is on.....and when I filled up i put in usually 44-46L.
My light went on with 5L or less left in the tank...
...but as I was told, that is normal.
