Did any of you experience aches and pains (specifically in the back & neck) related to the new sitting position, pedal position, etc? I've had the car for about a week and it's killing me. I'm used to my old '94 civic and I hope that my body just needs to adjust. Any similar experiences?

I'm on to 2 1/2 weeks with my first M3 and as guys had said I did get used to the gas and brake pedals being too close.
And in regards to the seat It must have taken about 10 tries to find the right spot. Between the up/down, the back tilt, the telescopic/tilt wheel, I did eventually get a spot I like.
Give it a little bit yet.

My cheeks (not on my butt) were always aching because everytime I drove my 3 I would be grinning from ear to ear. Over three years later, that feeling is still there.

No
But to this day I still cannot get the lumbar support to my liking; I'm always changing it

try adjusting all the seat functions as well as the steering wheel. It may take you a while to find a position that is comfy for you.
I did notice bit of back pain from speed3 bucket seats. But it's not constant.

I like the seating much better than my old protege, but it might be the leather.
It took me a couple of months of screwing with the wheel and the seats, but now it's almost perfect. I haven't moved anything in six months.

No pain.
But the only thing that annoyed me was the headrest. But once I pushed it all the way up, it's perfectly comfortable now.

I had forgot about the headrest. It's angled too far forward to be comfortable. Maybe it's safer that way, but it's still annoying, even now.

Hmm... thinking way back to Thursday... I haven't really noticed any issues yet, but I'm still playing with the seating position to find exactly what's right for me.

I got mine on january 9th, i have chronic back problems and I have to say Ive never had any problems with the seating position, it took maybe 2 days to find the best setting, Im also 6'2 so i have not a lot of liberty on moving it cause i have the moonroof, so the seat has to be in the lowest position, again, never had a problem, and pedal placement, i love it, i cand heel and toe. no pains here

No pain what so ever. Only thing was I didn't know how to operate the lumbar support. Now, I have it one notch down from all the way out.
I like my high seating position too, sometimes I can feel my hair touching the liner.
didn't take long to get use too for me.

no pain for be, but compared to hondas the horizontal distance between the pedals and steeringwheel even fully extended is slightly shorter than the hondas i was used to driving. this translated in a slightly more upright seating position.
none of this caused any pain, but took me about 2 weeks to finally find my sweet spot and geting used to be a few more degrees upright.

I too suffer from back problems (getting old) and don't have any issue with the seats. Having said that, it did take me quite some time to find the right settings, and if my wife messes with those I find it uncomfortable but not painful in any way.
