Hey Everyone,

I have had my eye on a GS since December, and finally just got around to selling my old 2002 Chrysler Neon (not such a smart purchase... last time I go car shopping with my mom) and ordered a Black 5-speed 2007 GS.

I was supposed to have the car on Saturday this week because the dealership had a car in stock, but it turned out that the car was dealer traded after I had signed for the car, and now I have to wait for a car to come in... its on rail now, and i am really hoping that I will have my car by friday or saturday this week at the latest... the anticipation is KILLING ME!!! Now I am car-less for the first time in about 5 years, and I feel very empty inside... :(

Looking at getting some new rims (I saw a deal on the 18" RX-8 rims and was thinking those might look good).

I am leasing the car, but if I buy it in the end, then I want to put a nice spoiler on it, and change the chrome grill in the front to a BLACK one, and maybe add a skirt or something like that... I dont know why they put that chrome grill on for the 07s, but it looks kinda dumb... made me want to get a GT just to get the body coloured grill!

Anyways, this forum looks like a cool place, and im pretty sure im gonna be around here a lot!

Other than the rims, I dont think so... im gonna start looking for a nice rear lip / spoiler to add (if anyone has a black one that they are looking to sell, please PM me), but since the car is leased, its gonna be tough to do anything more than that to the car.

As I said before, if I buy it, I will make some changes under the hood and get rid of that chrome grill, but other than that, ive gotta come up with a few grand to cover the lease for the 4 years (selling my old car is gonna cover about 2 and a half years, but I want to have all the money I need ready and waiting in my PC financial account making a nice 4%), then I can worry about shelling more money into the car :)

dont worry about the leasing, all mods part can be sold later on before you return the car

Actually, I bought it from you guys at Mazda of Toronto :P

Just toss in some all season mats to make up for the mistake and im happy... I bought the car from Jolene, so tell her that Jeff (thats me) wants some mats when he gets the new car! :chuckle

As for the grill, I have heard that its attached to the bumper or something like that, so there is a lot more to replace, but I probably wouldnt get a factory one anyways, but if you could find out more on that, I would really appreciate it!

SICK!!! You just made my day... but at the same time, I have an exam tomorrow that I need to study for, and now im not gonna be able to focus :flaming

Hopefully they will get that PDI done real quick, and I will hopefully see you tomorrow after my exam.

Kinda sucks cause as soon as I started driving away with it it started to rain outside so my new car is already dirty, but whatever, if I am always paranoid about keeping my car clean I will go insane :D

Anyways, im super happy to be a Mazda3 Owner!
