here's a system that will ensure randomness as well as allow YOU and SFW to participate :)

on a set date, log onto the server and pull some stats from predetermined date range..(eg. from jan1 to apr30 we've had 8,390,453 total hits and counting of course..)

get a list (and number: n)of the ppl that bought 50/50 tix.. shouldn't be too many and assign them numbers from 0 to n-1 and perform the following math

winner = # of hits mod n

easy as pie.. random and everyone is happy :D
