Every once in a while, my boys take me out for some golf. Last week, I went to some driving range at Chinguacousy and Bovaird. It was a blast.
And yes, I suck at it. Out of like 20 swings, I hit the ball only once. And sometimes it comes back at me.

Haven't been out yet, but ready for a summer filled with it. The bosses & I usually make 5 or 6 trips between May and July. I've also got passes for Glen Eagle that I have to use before the end of May. I suspect that my game's going to improve a great deal this year.
Thank you expense account!

Haven't been out yet. Hoping to get out in a couple weeks I think. There have been quite a few days where the clubs should have come out but I think I'll wait for May...oh wait, that's tomorrow! Sweet! :chuckle

Played Saturday and Sunday.... took me nine holes to get everything in order.... played much better on the back 9 and all of Sunday.
Still shot in the 90s... GRRRR... gotta get more consistent... want those 80s dammit!
Playing again this weekend... will be nice and hot.

a bad day is high 90s... the odd low 100s like 100-105....
decent day is mid 90s
good day is low 90s... all it takes is a few triple bogies and my day is shot! haha...
i would be happy with bogey golf.... i've only shot in the 80s twice.
it's all about consistency... which I need ;)

high 90's!! I would be really happy with that! I started golfing about 1 1/2 years ago and have not been able to get lower then 115-120...lmao....but I love the game! I am determined to drop down to low 100's.
I think I am going to hire someone to correct the mistakes I am making!

Ive been out twice this year, just got new irons and ive been on fire!
last year i was shooting around 82-88 on avg (unless the wheels fell off, or i drank too much beer) and this year i think its gonna drop into the high 70s
its amazing what new club technology can add to your game!

Want to score in the 80's, work on the short game! That were you score.... If that doesn't work, play at a par 3, should have no problem breaking 90 there :)

i think my golf game has been getting progressively worse over the years haha!
played once this year, completely green... didn't hit the range all winter... what a disaster.

Yep...my short game is what is hurting my score. That will definitely be my area for work this year, lol.

I just like driving the carts. It's a miracle I haven't rolled one yet. :)

That's the only way I can convince my gf to come out on the course. If she gets to drive the cart she'll come out. :chuckle

At the driving range, I like hitting (hahaha, the way I play, yeah right. More like WATCHING PEOPLE hit) the guy driving the cart to pick up all the balls on the grass.:chuckle

ive been out to the range a few times and got out last week and shot a +3 at Beverdale in cambridge. course was pretty easy...par 67...normally im an 80's golfer, so i was happy with my first round of the season. it also could be the new Callaway clubs i got...lol X-20 what.

Finally got out to a course yesterday, went to Glen Eagle in Bolton for a tourny/stag and shot a 92. Pretty bad, but considering I shot 53 on the front I was happy for a 92 for my first time out this year.
The course was in very good condition, has lots of hills and a lot of elevated tee blocks. Only bad thing about the day was the wind which made the course a lot harder than it really is.

I played Westview last weekend and am playing it again this Saturday,
beautiful course, and not that expensive!

Picked up the "Golf Fore All" box from Golftown at the beginning of the season. Some really good deals ('2 for 1' & '4 for 3') at a bunch of really nice courses. For $50 the thing is paid for after 1 round at Royal Wodbine.
I would recommend it to anyone who doesn't mind playing a little later on the weekends (after 11am) or who can play during the week.
Also, don't play Royal Wodbine if you don't want to lose any balls. Really nice course but there is water on every hole!
