I think its in the making...and for Mayweather to tell the world he is retiring is BS...retiring while he is in his prime...

de la hoya should be the one thinking about retiring, the way i see it if he cant KO he's oponent in the first 5 rounds he slows down and got no power with his punches on the remaining rounds.

maybe mayweather doesnt wanna tarnish his clean record, he believes he has proven himself already...

Funny how the whole fight was promoted by Golden Boy Promotions. (De La Hoya's company) Did you see 50 Cent entrance, pure freestyle!

Mayweather was too quick for him. The punch count is all you have to look at to see he clearly won that fight.

Rematch for sure.

Mayweather so owned De La Hoya. Split D? What was the judge thinking...payoff possibly? It was somewhat of a boring fight though, De La Hoya couldn't land anything and his weak attempts when he had Mayweather on the ropes were sad, they were feable attempts at winning the round and only made Mayweather laugh and only made De La Hoya tired. Would have preferred it if Mayweather would have KO'd the Golden Boy but oh well. Mayweather, hands down took the night, from the entrance mocking De La Hoya to the fight and the post match interview with his drunk trainner (what was he saying, couldn't make a word out :loco ). Greatest appearance of the night has to go to the Predator...oh, sorry, that was Maywether Sr...my bad :chuckle .

I was thinking Predator too! I loved his answer when asked who really won the fight. He kept saying check the punch count.
