Does anyone know what the MS ss comes with, as in bushings, boot, etc?
I tried to do a search, but most of the listings are for TWM. I personally think I'll like the 20% over the 40% reduction in throw TWM gives.
What's the going price on the MS one as well?
While I'm writing this I guess I should also know why it seems that most people chose the shifter they did, and if they're happier after the fact.
Thanks

TWM is just perfect in every way. The throw is perfect and it's a solid design. Plus it's cheaper than the MS one I think.
20% reduction seems kinda pointless. It isn't enough to make any significant difference.

As well, the TWM has a bend in the neck so the knob is dead center in neutral. I don't know whether or not the Mazdaspeed one does this as well.
I've got the TWM shifter, plus bushing, plus boot. Like Skarbro says, the feeling is VERY solid, not mushy and forgiving. I used the stock knob for now, it's semi weighted but getting something thats 400+ grams supposed makes shifter better using momentum.

I recall people talking about a shifter that sits closer to the driver when in first & second, is that the TWM shifter? And how long would you guys say the throw is for the same gears?

the MS one from pics ive seen really leans towards the driver and looks awkward...
i installed the TWM this sunday and its awesome, highly recommended....
i cant' comment on what % it feels in reduction, but i can nearly just flick my wrist now to change gears.

How much is the TWM one with everything (when there isn't a GB in palce)?

Duh.
I guess I could have looked that part up.
It's a little cheaper than the MS one, but the shifter knob alone is $80.00 USD? That seems a little rich.

You don't need the knob. I've been rocking the shifter with the stock knob. It's perfectly fine. You don't need an extra weighted knob.

+1 I like my stock one quite frankly. Nice size, looks good and feels good.

I don't like doing any online purchasing, that's why I'm asking for locations in the GTA that sale TWM products (shifters)

definately worth every penny. I have a weighted shifter i made at school (love those lathes) lol. Anyways, i prefer the stock shifter too. it shifts virtually the same as the stock one, except SHORTER throws/height :)
