You can have them replaced at no charge if your car is under warranty, which yours by default isn't any longer, unless you purchased MAP.
Can they really be replaced under warranty so easily? Is it standard practice at all dealers? When I read this thread before I just thought it was something the dealer did out of "good faith" and/or if you bitched. I always assumed that this falls under regular wear/tear (unless if there's proof of defect).
My driver carpet is worn out cuz I push my clutch all the way down to the carpet/floor. (I know that the '07 and possibly '06 has stops on the clutch pedal...can this be retrofitted to '05? Maybe I'll start a new thread on this).

I would always get a general shpeel from the dealer that as long as it's a 'wear' item, it's not covered...
Which is also ridiculous as there have been TSB's posted across the USA regarding "clutch judder" on a mazda6.. Now because it's a US TSB, canadian dealerships don't honour it.. and because the clutch is a 'wear item', they pretty much tell you you're screwed... Which is ironic, because the mazda6 is made from the same freakin factory in michigan.. I'm not sure, now though if mazda canada has actually released that TSB now, but it's pretty much useless since it had a kilometre limit that's obviously exceeded already much of the people that had initially complained about it....
With that said, i dunno about floormats! LOL... If they replace them, well good for you! You must have a siiiick dealership to deal with...
We got MAP, so does that mean it is covered for us? Such crappy material I must admit

Just curious what car you are referring to is made in the smae plant as the Mazda6? I hope you aren't talking about the 3, because last I checked, the 3 doesn't come with a 300HP V8.... Of course, rferring to Flat Rock, MI....
