Just gathering interest for a paintball tournament at Area 51 Paintball park at Downsview park. Date TBD!!

I think it will work this time cause it's in the GTA and not at wasaga. I think most people were turned off by the fact it was far away and gas prices were too high.

unless you are a "member" there its insanely expensive.
I think 51 might have raised their rates, but even still 51 is better imo.

51 also sells good quality used guns in their proshop so it might be something to check out.

That's about the going rate, any where you go unless there is like a big event. Then the paint prices drop a little, because they sell more quantity.

For "friends of members" it is normal prices, I have tried to sneak paint to my friends for cheap before and they didnt mind too much when its busy, but you could tell they were sketchy about it.

Maybe If I buy a case of paint we can all split it... I will ask when im there.

I am good any time that day, I will block the whole time off, especially since sopranos will be over :chuckle

the rental guns at 51 are good, and the more you pay the better your rental.

Area 51 is gravel, so they guns dont jam with dirty or sand as much.

You can pay more, and rent A5's

Was checking out their site. Look under speedball pricing, and it looks like $16 admission, $50 for 500 draxxus blitz and $60 for 500 xball bronze. Does this apply to the rec field too?

As for the equipment, I believe the markers are Mokal Fokus, which are quite decent.

i was wondering if u could change the location why nt in "sgt.splatters" is better and nt that dirty like are 51, this one located in n.eglinton/dufferin.

sand + guns = no fun. unless you are using a tippmann. I usually have to lube my gun, or at least clean my barrel 1-2 times a night at splatters.

not to mention 51's waiting area is MUCH larger and safer for your equipment, and I know the owners so theres a chance of getting better deals than at splatters, where there is no chance.

yes i am using tippmann but it doesnt mean i have to drop my gun in sand, if i can remember $10 entry in area 51 and sgt spla. is $5.

that means you must be one of the people that sits back and hides while everyone else runs and dives up to actually do the work.

Ive seen dm7's and timmys get bogged down by someone getting some dirt that worked its way back to the bolt/eyes area.
