Scuff Plates

How much, where do I get them?

I called Mazda and they said its 143 plus install.

I went on ebay and I found them for 20 bucks, but the ebay ones are stick on types?

Is this bad? can it be easily removed?

answers/thoughts/concerns are welcome

now do you mean REAR scuff plates (for the hatch)? .. it helps when you include details when you post a question.. if you're talking about door sills check out the thread linked by skarbs..

There is a new set that mazda offers in the accessory brochure, it replaces the whole black plastic piece and the scuff plate is built in to a new one.
The $143 is for the front door only.

If you search for door sills, you will find all kinds of info on these things. Scuff plates - not so much. Although I see your point as Mazda calls theirs scuff plates.
