My dealer never installed the hook onto the floor so my drivers floormat doesn't slide up into the pedals. Does anyone have an extra, know where to install or buy, etc.... I bought it in Whitby and live in Toronto, so I don't wanna drive half an hour to get a hook installed.

Its an 07 Hatch if you're wondering.

GO BACK AND SAY SOMETHING!!!! Sorry I put it in caps because I am so pissed to this day that I don't have one. My carpet slides up. I even did the velcro thing on the bottom and it holds for a while but it gets dirty and loses grip over time and then I have to re-velcro it again. Pain in the ass. Go back asap!

Is that really something that the dealer puts on? It doesn't seem like the sort of thing that would be done during the PDI. Why wouldn't it just be there from the factory?

Incidentally... just some advice for the future... whenever you notice anything wrong with the car, call up the dealer and tell them about it right away. Even if you don't intend to go for a fix for a little while, ensure that they know the issue exists as soon as you realize it.

Thanks Jeff....honestally I am kicking myself for not buying from you.

The guys at Whitby Mazda are douches...poor customer service, so bad when I asked to buy the extended warranty they didn't return my call. My PDI was "So you had a Protege 5, they're basically the same so we can breeze right through this." The best is when I called to ask a week later the said take it to my cloesest Mazda dealer and they can do it, so I go to GYRO Mazda and they say call my dealer, they can't do it and the part is not aviable for the 07 Mazda 3.

Is it ok if I swing by tomorrow (Saturday) and just pick it up, I'm pretty sure I know where it's supose to be screwed into...I'm a clean freek and I've shampooed my rug enough that theres a slit and a screw and hole where it should go.
