I'm going to Niagara that weekend anyways, so I'm down. I doubt I will be entering but I will definitely come.

I'm originally from Niagara and I've driven that over 1000 times, it's not that far. Vlad, don't be a baby! come for a drive, lol. It's only about an hour or so drive. I do this on a weekend every once in a while and I think their gas has been cheaper lately. ;) Could always make a trip to the U.S. and fill up. :chuckle

Haha! Lundy's Lane! Sweet. Clifton Hill was always good back in the day, can't say I've done that in a while.



*On a side note, my parents have a pool so if it's hot and people want to come back to their place for a swim or to relax as well, that might be an option.

Classes will be decided on Sunday for this folks. Get signed up and ensure that you have a class for your model :) Seems to be a lot of interest in clubs attending the show, staying the night, and hitting Scrape by the Lake the next day... makes a great weekend!

It doesnt matter how pimped, or how stock your ride is.... Its about a charity, and how well you represent your club. I realized shows are meeting more people learning ideas and enjoying the day w/ friends... You'll even forget that your car is in a show....

Alex you should sticky this on every car show that will be posted LOL!!!

Yeah Argos, the show is more like meeting of the mazdas. Obviously not all mazdas, but that friendly atmosphere where its not all about the competition. Sure if this was SCN, or Importfest, you wouldnt comeout, but its just a fun day in the sun in Niagara. Its more of a huge meet than a show :)

(b) The winner and his/her travel companion will fish with a fishing
professional selected by the sponsor.

We will be about 15 min max drive from the Falls. There really aren't too many spots to get a "good" scenery shot by the Falls since everything is quite far back from the edge. I know of a couple that aren't too bad on the Niagara river.

There is quite a bit of "tourist" stuff to do outside if that's what you guys are looking for and there always are both casinos.

The 2nd Annual Show and Shine from Team Slipstream was a great turnout. We rolled with the proteges and made it just in time for the judging. Traffic was hell along the QEW but we all made it in one piece. The handycam had great cruising shots and will upload them in the next couple of days.

To sum up the day it was Mr. Alex who took out the place with winning tickets after winning tickets.... He won chairs, shirts, hats, a light, mazda watch, (I think he had 4 winning tickets) and not to mention best Mazda protege/3 class!!!

Not bad without your mazdaspeed bumper!!! PROPS bro!!

And props to John and Team Slipstream for hosting the event.

an awesome event. The post show pictures are going to be amazing. We got some TM3 shots, TM6/TM3 shots, and TOP/TM3/TM6 shots done by a pro photographer.
Also, the trip to the winery, that nearly put us in the US(crazy GPS units), and some pictures coming from the winery..

highlights for me were the photoshoot, the million pizzas we purchased, the raffle of course (man my legs hurt from all that walking up to collect the prizes) LOL

It was a fun event. Congrats to Al again. With all the work you put into your car, you deserved it. Everything went pretty smooth 'till I tried the closest to pin event. I'm a lefty and they gave me a right handed 2' plastic golf club with a plastic ball which I put a dent in. Gave them back the club and told them to keep the money. LOL! I was fumming. One thing I did not like of the event but everything else went well. HID's made a difference on the way back, but my new lowered car gave me a little back discomfort. LOL!
