i guess i wasnt' being clear; i dont' actually want to turn off the signatures..i just happen to think that if you have an option to list people's car(s) in the box on the left, rather than in the signature, you can use the signature box for something else, like, say, really big pictures. ;)

what you're suggesting would make the posts "half profile and half post" making everything out of whack and uncomfortable to browse.. i mean look at posst of 'unoriginalusername' - due to his LONG name, the posts aren't aligned perfectly.. also, the site is slow already as it is so more pictures (the large ones) would just impede load times (ya i know many pix are linked externally but still)..

Suggestions aren't taken that well here whether you are brand new or a vet like myself. I've learned to just live with it and browse the boards casually.
