Where could I get an 07 leather shift knob?

Hey guys, I hope this is the right section for this. I'm trying to get my hands on an 07 (manual) leather wrapped shift knob for my 05GT. Anyone know where I could find one? I tried asking a dealer but it sounds like he only sells the accessory knobs separately and if i wanted to OEM one it only comes with the whole shifter or something under collision parts. Any pointers would be much appreciated thnx.

If it does come as part of the whole assembly, then you might want to start calling the wreckers to see if they have one. Even though the 07's are fairly new, there's still going to be some wrecked ones.

Alternatively, look around for someone who's changed theirs. Once you've been here a while and have over 50 posts, you can post a wanted ad in the classifieds for one.

They are for sure hard to find or either I am very picky.

I want somting that looks sporty and yet very nice. I my self do not like the bling bling ones or the metal/aluminum ones.

You asked the wrong dealer. You can buy just knob if you want. It's quite pricey but it looks good. You also have the option of the Mazdaspeed accesory leather knob.

The stock ones usually go for $190+ depending on which year.

A good alternative is the MS accessory ones. Prices are $80-$120.

i call markham mazda for the auto shifter with the silver plate on it, comes on the cx-7's, mz 3 08 etc, the parts guy said 168 + tax
