Hey Guys,

I have never played around with video on my digicam... but decided to tonight. Here is what I did:

- 43.9MB .MOV file out of the Camera
- Coverted to 537MB .AVI using RAD Video Tools
- Converted to 19.4MB .WMV file with Blaze Media Pro

Uploaded to google: http://video.google.ca/videoplay?docid=-6328067265070962842

Results look poor online, but OK on my machine. Is it due to the google process, or all the converting. Ideas? Easy solutions?

Thanks
John

PS - This was made with a Nikon Point and Shoot 7.1MP, so nothing crazy or highend.

It looks alright for a 240x320 video. How much better is it on your computer?

probably due to the converting. You can simply rename the .mov file to .mpg. That might result in better quality.
Do you by chance have a JVC video camera?

lol.. you don't change anything about the file except for how the OS (or software) sees the file but it still looks at the header so it knows how to handle it..

Any other tips?
