OK guys, Need your opinions

Hey all. You may remember me as the guy that had the 9v Energizer batter hooked up to light-up pedals. I am wondering if there is any interest in a Ferrari-esque shift gate for our cars. Instead of the cheesy boot, perhaps you would like a gate in your car. Polished aluminum, properly measured for our cars. Its an idea, if anyone is interested, I shall use my car as a guinea pig.

You mean something like this? I think that would be uber GHETTO. You would end up dropping change and dust and crap in there. Plus have you ever looked under there? There's a lot of parts that would be shown that you don't want seen. Plus, I love my shift boot.

hmmmm to be honest i think something similar to that would be nice...

the shift boot gets dirty easily and looks plain...

then twist off the shift knob, pull up on the boot, and wipe the leather with some sort of interior wipes.
mine came out all shiny and new looking

Better yet..replace the fake leather boot with a real leather boot
