Huh? What?
Umm... out of curiosity... how many members actually work downtown and are here all day?

I work DT 9-5 but I don't drive down here anymore, whenever it rains driving gets retarded. If it snows, even more so.

I'm up for a DT meeting, I'm in upper beaches/east york area so DT is easier for me.

I like broli's idea.... a shoot at the docks would be pretty pimp...... could even turn the pic into a new shirt!
well nothing is stopping you from setting up a meet downtown if there is no meet scheduled for the day. There is a few members that are complaining about no downtown meets, and i'm on their side. all meets are north (respectively) or faaaaaar west.
i say find a good location, set it up, and go from there. I dont know downtown area that well, but there are some areas where we can meet, for example lakeshore and leslie timmies. but start something up. (just make sure there is no scheduled meet in the general area same day)

stas is right
it doesn't hurt to try!
truth be told, being downtown all day, i am not likely to come out to a lot of downtown meets, but i would come once in a while
is there are free parking anywhere
maybe loblaws on queens quay?
but not a great meet spot honestly!
timmies and leslie and lakeshore is not bad, more east than i want to go
if it is evening, why not a UofT meet, but bring ur own coffee!
lol
we could meet in kings college circle, would be great for pics and parking is free after a certain time, not sure what it is but if we are outside we cant get a ticket, besides not as many students in the summer so probably not a problem

JonsMazda you really need to change that avatar man! I can't stop looking at it and then when i get past it i find myself scrolling back up for another quick glimpse! I am down for a photoshoot too!
so why doesnt someone organize a meet for one of these days, see how much interest there is. i doubt too many people would come out for lunch as it varies for many and takes time to get places down there. but i think that if you get a meet going in the evening many will show. and cmon broli we all make it to masivs so you gotta come out to the east more often.

yea downtown meet would be awsome, cne would definitly have some good scenery for shoots as well, maybe outside bmo stadium for the soccer nuts :chuckle if theres enough interest we should organize a meet at one of the games, tix range from 10-25 bucks for seats or standing in the beer garden

i have season tickets and i've been getting tickets for friends every game... pretty much the wheelchair seats where they're just chairs(rather than the regular folding ones)... best ones ive gotten were last game RIGHT behind the north goal which is the only row there infront of the beer garden for 10 bucks :pop (they bring beer to youre seat) i bought 28 tickets for tonights game in the last row of the supporters section.... they sell those tickets i think a few days before the game but seat holders get early access to them... if anyones interested at anytime feel free to pm me, i also get discounted prices on jerseys and such
