hey guys just bought the magnum cross drilled rotors put them on two days ago now ive noticed there is rust spots on them looks like it rained and the water dried orange on them is there anything i can use to clean this?

It should come off after you brake a few times. Are you taking about the oxidization inside the holes of the drilling points?

Not much you can do. If they're not coated, they're going to rust.

im talking about the "outer edges" (which the original poster is referring to), not the ones where the brake pads touches.

still just leave them rusty.. the rust will prevent further oxidisation :)

I also purchased the rotors, but decided to go with the cadium plating. It's been over a month now and not a single spec of rust. For those of you interested in the rotors, getting them plated is the way to go. I think it was an additional 10 or 15 dollars per rotor.
In your case Gunmetal, not much you can do but to paint the outer edges as already mentioned. Even then, they will eventually flake off.

those look funny.. :chuckle and by that i mean ghay.. :gone what if your calipers are painted and what if the colours are off? to each their own i guess..
Go with black high heat paint.

You can paint the rotor fins with a heat paint and I would suggest a "Flat black" as it dissipates heat better and next time buy coated rotors, they are well worth the extra coin.

which company make coated rotors? is Eibach rotors coated?
