Nice! Does this product work really good? my idles are really rough and it feels like it almost wants to stall everytime i come to a stop. it drops down to about 300rpm. i have to let go of my brakes and it kind of pushes me ahead a bit going back up to about 700rpm then idling again at 500...do you think it will solve this problem. i cant think of anything else i can do besides stealership...

If the problem is due to Injector dirtyness, then yeah, it should fix it :)

Some of they guys here have used it and seem quite happy with the product, my car's still quite new, so no need for me yet :)

Is red line oil a true synthetic oil like royal purple and other European specs?

From Red Line's site:

Red Line Oil’s team of chemists and blenders formulate fully-synthetic oils and chemically-advanced additives using only the world’s finest base stocks. This makes Red Line Oil the premium product on the shelf. It’s not designed to be the cheapest—it’s built to be the best. Rather than cutting costs by blending into polyalphaolefin base stock for its motor oil, Red Line Oil only uses superior poly ester-based products—resulting in lubricants that are extremely stable at high temperatures while providing superior film strength at lower viscosities where more power can be produced.

I read that on their site too. I do agree that it is a fine product. It seems the 10W formula meets the European spec.

Would you suggest we use a 10W40 in our vehicle as we have extreme cold here (-12 or greater)?

I'd go with whatever the manual recommends. For the Speed3 it's 5W20 I believe.

that's debatable....as Mazda isn't even sure themselves (http://www.mazda3forums.com/index.php?topic=71524.0)

Actually Mazda Canada answered the question and said 5w-20 in winter 5w-30 in summer, which sounds like the logical thing to do with the turbo's anyways.

Hum,-I've used the Redline for the fuel and it is an excellent product, but I'm not sure it will help with what symptoms you are discribing, that sounds like something more serious is causing the problem. I would take it to the dealer, if I were you.
