I have been looking at LED tails and came upon different pictures. Is it because of the angle that the two side turn signals appear to be different. One is more clear than the other.
Is there two versions of the OEM tails?

It's the same, but one has chrome-dipped bulbs which eliminate the amber color.

So the ti-grey 3 has the yellow chrome dipped bulb right?
What's the difference between clear bulbs and chrome dipped bulbs?

The chrome dipped bulb emits an amber light when activated while the clear bulb emits a white light when activated.

Don't think that's accurate in this case. I don't want to confuse the thread by getting technical but bluntman's comment is true only if you have turn signal housings that are amber (non LED tails) - since they're already amber it comes with clear bulbs which emit a while light. LED tails however have clear turn signal housings and so need a bulb that's coated in amber and emits an amber light.
So if talking about the two tails posted on the first post - they BOTH emit an amber light when activated (contrary to bluntman's comment). Just that the stock bulb (for LED tails) are coated amber and therefore produces the amber "yolk" even when off while the chromed-dipped bulbs are chromed colored and therefore produces no amber "yolk" when off.

Well said Xerox... Keep in mind that the chrome-dipped bulbs are not as bright as the stock amber-coated ones.
That's the only thing preventing me from changing a whole lot of bulbs.

Or you can get a set of LED blinkers, but keep in mind a load resistor will be neccessary.

But I was replying to this question:
What's the difference between clear bulbs and chrome dipped bulbs?
Clear bulbs look clear when off but emit a relatively white light when activated.
Chrome dipped bulbs emit an amber light when activated.
