Fujita is probably the cheapest if you don't want to go with an eBay intake or homemade, lol.

AEM is terrible IMO....to many stories of CEL's...

Best one no doubt goes like this:

1) Injen CAI (if you look at the design of it, that is how an intake should be for the Mazda3)
2) Mazdaspeed
3) F2 Intake (3" Diameter pipe)
4) Fujita

It's kind of subjective.

An Ebay CAI (if you get lucky) will be the cheapest. For the most part, it's the filter that makes the difference, and you can get pretty much whatever you want if you look hard enough.

Even cheaper would be getting one used. It's not as if you can't inspect it before you buy it.

i picked up the Mazdaspeed CAI from Flippy @ MoT earlier this week.. got it installed by Jimmy and Richard at Street Performance. it's definitely not the cheapest CAI out there, but i'm happy with mine. i like the included splash shield too.

I had the Injen before on my '05. Does anybody know if the Fujita sounds like the Injen at all? I really liked how the Injen intake sounded...or if anyone else knows of another brand that offers the same noise.

Injen is definitely not the cheapest but as azn_outlaw said...its the best intake out there becasue of the design and it sounds amazing. I can say none of the intake for the regular 3 have sound better then it.

I talked to StreetUnit yesterday and they said that the Fujita is actually the only intake that hasn't been tuned for the car like the Injen. If your budget is $250 then Injen would've been the best option IMO.

Does anyone know if a used MS CAI is purchased and not installed at Mazda, if the warranty is still valid?

It seems to depend on the dealer. Mine said yes, I've heard some that say no. I'd ask before you buy.
