I drive by there all the time. I've seen the signs, and have wondered about fishing there. However, I have not yet.
While driving by the area, I HAVE seen people doing it though.
TM3 fishing meet?
We could always barbeque our catch for the day using a camp fire or actual barbeque.:chuckle

mmmmhhh...Fresh fish are tasty. How safe are the fishes that you catch?
Do people need fishing license or take your chances without getting caught?

haha wellll.....IF you get caught without a license, they take that pretty seriously.....given they can in extreme cases take your fishing gear, car, boat, + fines...

Simply amazing up there, we used to camp up there by the dallas rapids. So nice and quiet, we spent a week there once and only saw 2 other people, that where not in our group. The fish are plenty and they like to bite.

Its $13 a year for a renewal (Conservation license) and if you need the Outdoors card, it will be $20 total. The Sport License is $22 to renew. The Outdoors card is good for 5 years before you need to buy new one.
Fishing without a license is just dumb. In the end, someone has to pay for it. If you don't have a license, you should keep your rod out of the water. As simply as that.
