I would say Algonquin park. It's like $25 a night and lots of stuff to do if your an outdoor type of person

Good luck finding any provincial campsite within a 3-4hour drive over the long weekend.
I say make a day trip out of SandBanks or Silbald Point..

Silbald Point is an hour north of Toronto and they have an alcohol ban every long weekend. I used to live 2 minutes away from there. They also love to give out tickets for everything ranging from swearing to being too loud at even 8 pm
Algonquin must have 600 camp sites. I dunno
Balsam lake is also pretty good. Thats about it for me

Yeah Im hitting Buffalo tomorrow LOL
I was gonna go to Bronte to work on my tan but I can do that in my backyard
Turkey Point was pretty crappy; the beach is dirty and not very nice although i found the place to be very quiet.
Sherkston I totally forgot about it.. thats another place to consider

My friends and I went there a few weeks back and they had an alcohol and firework ban. There were a bunch of OPP checking all the cars.
Also, we tried to start a fire at one of the fire-pits due to the cold, but they went nuts and made us put it out.

May I suggest some classy areas in your immediate vicinity, such as Gore Park, Gage Park, or possibley the ritzy neighbourhood stretch of Barton Street. You could camp out with the locals along those roads, and if you have $5 you could stay till tuesday and have $3 left over.
